This website has been set up by a local resident/historian of Childwall, whose interests on the area has produced the highly rated and highly visited 'History of Childwall' website - the link can be found on the right:
It was set up as a private individual website to highlight a personal view of the proposed changes to the 14th Century Church, All Saints (as well as the surrounding area with proposed Planning Applications).
It is not affiliated with All Saints Church, lay copyright to any claim on All Saints part (except where individual text and images have been used) and does not represent any body or group. It is, however, a useful portal for the Residents of Childwall who wish to find out the proposed plans on the Church. Contact us by the link to the below:
Visit the excellent and historical website
'The History of Childwall" which provides a historical view of the Church and the surrounding area and discover long forgotten Mansions, Chapel's and Farms.
Liverpool Preservation Trust keeps a careful watch on the city and reports back on the sometimes strange and foolish plans our city has for the next demolition or which carbuncle will arrive next.
The £10.5m ferry terminal at Liverpool's Pier Head has won the "Carbuncle Cup" which is awarded to Britain's worst new building....""a shining example of bad architecture and bad planning". Could it be repeated in Childwall?
